Notice is hereby given, that Sanpete County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 17. 2024 at the Sanpete County Courthouse, 160 N Main, Manti, Utah for the purpose of amending the 2024 budget and hold a public hearing for the Sanpete County 2025 budget at 6:00 pm. The 2025 budget will be adopted at 6:30 pm on December 17, 2024.

The Notice of Property Valuation and Tax Changes shows the value placed on your property by the County Assessor. If you believe the value of your property is incorrect you may appeal to the Sanpete County Board of Equalization within 45 days of the mailing of this notice. Your appeal must address the issue of market value, not the rate of tax. Evidence supporting your estimation of the market value must be included in the appeal. APPEALS ARE ACCEPTED BY MAIL, 160 N Main, Ste 207 (with completed Request for Review Form), in person or by email: [email protected]. The Request for Review Form is also available at the Auditor’s office. A Request for Review Form must be filled out for each parcel.
DOCUMENTATION establishing a basis for an appeal of Market Value is REQUIRED.

5 Year Delinquent Tax Sale
The 5 Year Delinquent Tax Sale occurs when the county sells parcels of land that are five years delinquent in the payment of property taxes due. Sanpete County Ordinance 03-15-2022 establishes the method, rules, and procedures for conducting the annual tax sale.

- 2024 5 Year Delinquent Tax Sale will be held on May 16, 2024 at 10:00 am on publicsurplus.com ONLY. Bidders are required to register prior to the sale at www.publicsurplus.com.
- 2024 List of Delinquent Properties - List will be updated as properties are redeemed. (List will be published 4 weeks prior to the sale)
- A property may be redeemed in behalf of the record owner, by any person, at any time prior to the start of the sale, on the scheduled date. Property is redeemed by paying to the Sanpete County Treasurer, all delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, and administrative costs which have accrued on the property. Paying the delinquent amount does not grant ownership to the individual(s) or party(s) paying all delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, and administrative costs. This only removes the property from the sale.
