Delinquent Property Taxes
In accordance with the requirements and provisions of Section 59-2-1332.5 Utah Code Annotated,(U.A.C.) notice is hereby given that unpaid 2021 property taxes in Sanpete County, Utah became delinquent on December 1, 2021.
A penalty has been imposed in accordance with Section 59-2-1331 U.C.A. Interest accrues as of January 1 following the date of delinquency unless payment of delinquent taxes and penalty is received before January 31, 2022. The Sanpete County Treasurer hereby provides notice of delinquency in the payment of property taxes, which shall be provided by mailing a written notice to delinquent taxpayer; and by making available to the public a list of delinquencies in the payment of property tax by electronic means at www.sanpete.com.

At this time you can still register your vehicle you will just not receive year decal at this time. The decal will be mailed out to you when they are able to produce them again. The Tax Commission has put notice out to Law enforcement agencies about the decal issue as well.
