Change of visitation/phone providers. Click here for new provider information The Sanpete County Jail has a Video Visitation program to allow for two options for visiting an inmate. All visitation is done over a computer monitor. There are no in person visits or barrier visits at our jail.
ONSITE VISITATION: Free public visitation done at the Sanpete County Jail. Onsite visits are for up to 30 minutes at one time.
REMOTE/AT HOME VISITATION: Can be done from any mobile device or computer for a fee of $0.30 per minute up to 30 minutes at one time.
All visits whether onsite or remote are done via a computer monitor. If you are doing an onsite visit, you no longer have an assigned terminal. Just choose one and put in the passkey code. All visits are done with facial recognition, meaning that both on the inmate and visitor side you must be very still for the camera. If you move, the screen will look gray and appear to be glitching, but this is normal.
EVERYONE appearing on a visit must be approved PRIOR to the visit. Profiles should be submitted at ncic.com where you will do a current selfie and valid ID. If the ID you submit is showing expired, your profile will be rejected.
There are 2 types of accounts at ncic. One is for putting money on the phone and the other is for visitation or messaging. Please make sure you sign up on visitation or messaging so your profile gets sent to me.
Only related minors will be allowed to visit, but they are subject to approval. Related minors must submit an application signed by the legal parent or guardian. The profiles must be made under the parent or guardian’s name. Please do not create any profiles for minors.
EVERYONE also needs to fill out the inmate visitor application and visitation rules whether they are signing up to do visitation or messaging. The process is the same for both.
ON SITE VISITATION HOURS:
Monday - Saturday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am to 11:00 am, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
