Voter Registration Information
Voter Qualifications
Voter Registration is open to all Sanpete County residents that are:
- Citizens of the United States
- Residents of Utah for at least 30 days prior to Election Day
- 16-17 year old's may pre-register to vote and will automatically be sent a ballot when they officially become eligible to vote
- Residing at the address where they are registering
- Requires a valid Utah Driver License*
- Update voter registration or party affiliation
- Mark a ballot preference for partisan primary elections
Absentee Voting
Uniformed Services & US Citizens Overseas
Sanpete County conducts elections by mail. This means all active voters are mailed a ballot about 3 weeks before each election.
Missionaries, Students, Snowbirds or any voter residing temporarily in another state or other address within Utah may request to have their ballot mailed to that location on a temporary basis either online or by using this absentee ballot application. Absentee ballot applications only need to be filled out by those voters that need a ballot sent to a location other than their normal voter registration mailing address.
